Musical theatre is one of Melissa’s passions, as a performer, audience member, and director. She has worked with some of Centerville High School’s productions as a music director and/or pit conductor. For her work with the high school shows, the DayTony/Miami Valley High School Theatre Awards has recognized Melissa numerous times, most recently for her work on Bonnie & Clyde and Legally Blonde The Musical.
Inspired by her high school teacher, Melissa Stamm maintains a rubber duck collection in the classroom to remind her that “The performer is like the duck: calm and cool on the surface, but paddling like crazy underneath!” Melissa loves spending time with her husband and two children and can be seen walking around Centerville to go to the parks, library, or dinner.
